You need a smart phone , a data package , a full tank of gas , you need a float of $60 for cash orders. Before you can start you have to buy the bags which are priced differently depending on where you live and pay $20 for a criminal record check. Your car insurance will go up and vehicle wear and tear is no joke.

Whenever you want, however much you want. You put in your availability and you only get scheduled within those parameters.

Easy, just had to sign up and quickly got activated as a driver

Hire only a fixed amount of drivers needed for each area. There are too many drivers, not enough shifts, too little transit pay, orders should always be accompanied by a tip! Too many shifts with very little to no earnings! Insurance coverage for drivers vehicles would be a major help too

What all of the previous responses are missing is that you can’t start working until you purchase your Skip bags, or other pre-approved insulated bags. For me it took a day or two to get all the paperwork sorted out, but then almost a week before one of the bag distributors (which are just participating restaurants) had any available. Normally they are readily available, but I’m in St. John’s, NL, and I joined right before Christmas 2018, so there were delays due to cancelled ferries.. something that mainland cities never have to deal with.

To get another good job in my field.

I've been doing SkipTheDishes in Ontario for just over 2 years and I bank with BMO. I've always had my pay come through late Tuesday afternoon. Occasionally, there's a day delay but only when the Monday has been a statutory holiday.
