RH complètement inefficaces
Adjointe administrative (Former Employee) –  LSA13 December 2019
Environ 6 semaines à 2 mois pour avoir un feedback suite à l’entrevue de sélection. RH complètement désorganisés, inefficaces, irrespectueux des candidats. Allez travailler ailleurs, ça ne peut pas être pire...
Pros
I still think about it
Cons
Exigences irréalistes.

Resource persons are experienced, caring, and helpful. In general, good supportive work atmosphere. One of the rewarding part of the job is when students appreciate your efforts.

Substitute Elementary School Teacher (Current Employee) –  Laval, QC12 February 2019
Friendly staff. Worked at different schools as a substitute teacher and always had a positive experience in the schools of this school board. Payroll at times unreliable, though, which makes it frustrating.

Job Security
Maintenance Technician (Current Employee) –  Rosemère, QC10 January 2019
Far too much job security in the workplace. Employees are able to challenge authority and largely refrain from preforming their intended objective without any repercussion. This has consequently degraded the quality and efficiency of work found throughout all levels of employment. There is simply a collective unwillingness to perform in a desirable manner. If there were less job security and higher wages, employees would be persuaded and consciously motivated to enhance their quality of work in angst of potential dismissal.

short hours

Developed an organization from the bottom up
Project Development Officer (Former Employee) –  Joliette, QC1 August 2013
I was either in the office doing administrative work and coordinating projects or out in the community building relationships with local partners to support the projects I was implementing to support the community and school.

I learned a lot in this position, not only how to develop an organization but work with diverse groups of people in the education, business and community sectors to respond to common needs. I learned to to needs assessments and evaluations for every program I implemented to help the school and the community.

I learned to manage projects, meetings, volunteers, staff and students.

I worked with government officials, staff in the education system and community members and coordinated to bring them together on a regular basis.

Hardest part of the job was getting a lot done with limited funds.

Most enjoyable seeing the impact and change that can be made when given the opportunity to make a difference.
Pros
Flexible schedule, conferences, career development, benefits
Cons
Not full time.
