Great workplace if you're in a team with great leadership and management
Manager (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 31 May 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWithin the team I work with, I am appreciated, respected, and recognized for my efforts and value I bring to the organization. This has earned me the privilege and benefits of being able to have autonomy in my work so long as the work gets done, and done well. However, I cannot state that this is consistent across all teams within the organization.
Pros
Autonomy, respect for competence and skill, remote work / work from home
Cons
Some departmental tactics are not necessarily aligned or conducive to organizational strategy

26 September 2022Thank you for your feedback - It is great to have you as a part of our team.
Fun work place, Flexible and very supportive.
Dispatch Team Lead (Current Employee) - 2225 Sheppard Ave E, Suite 800 North York, ON, M2J 5C2 - 3 August 2022
I work as dispatch install team lead. I joined this company in 2020 and since I have joined this company, I am in love with it. I have worked at many places before but none like this one. The support you get here, you can't get it anywhere. By support I mean everyone is very helpful when you need day off or you would like to work remotely for personal reasons. On my day off, I miss work, and that says something about this company. The pay/benefits are amazing. This place give you every opportunity to grow and I can say that for my self as well. This company does no micro manage you, but let you fly and explore the horizons.

They flew me out to toronto cause i was one of the top sales women in edmonton
Door-to-door sales representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 1 April 2020
It was great i truly regret leaving the opportunity. It was fast-paced and it takes a certain personalities to really be able to achieve that salary, as it is hard work the more doors more money. You have to be able to adapt quickly to each homeowner.

Cleaning
Cleaner full time (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - 28 August 2019
Was ok company a lot of favouritism towards other employees and others left out. Didn't give raises as they were earned while others got them and others didn't.

Door to door
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 December 2018
I worked at Simply Green a couple years ago. The make you go out on the street, approach home owners, and literally scam them. They used to charge over $12,000 for a $2,000 furnace! And they would pay you a measly commission. No salary or hourly. It's basically slave driving. Don't fall victim to them, whether as a sales person or a customer.
Pros
Nonexistent
Cons
11-12 hour work day, no guaranteed, only commission, constant lying amd brainwashing...

Daily sales (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 22 December 2018
scammers scammers scammers, you work door-to-door with no base pay and you only get commission 500 bucks for every sale, sounds good yeah? think again mate, they make people sign documents without reading them and people end up stuck for 10 years paying for simply green

Poor Management, great environment
Office Administrator/Receptionist/Recruiter (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 20 January 2018
Benefits and team work environment was fantastic, however the work life balance was very much more work oriented even off the clock you would get calls from management about things that could wait till the next work day.
Pros
Wage/Benefits
Cons
No boundaries

Pure commission
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 24 June 2016
Forget whatever these guys have said to you, this job is pure commission and it's door to door.
They have a program called Simply Support where they say you get paid 300/week for 3 weeks but it's actually a BONUS program and you only receive the $300 bonus if you have:
1. full attendance
2. Never late ie. be there 15 mins earlier
3. make 3 deals each week
They make it sound like this was base pay but that's not the case. However they give you training pay only if you stay for 2 weeks you'll receive that payment. ($100~)
The description says they are flexible but honestly they fully expect you to work 12 hour a day 6 days a week. It's a very hard job but the incentive is good. For 1 unit HVAC installed you'd receive 350. You do the math.
But yea it was sucks that they weren't clear on Simply Support
Pros
Good potential
Cons
Long long hours

A good place to grow briefly
Eco Advisor (Former Employee) - Toronto / Winnipeg / Regina - 9 September 2015
100% commission based allowed me to use it as a base to grow for a brief period of time.
Growth in personal motivation, persistence, working through hardships..
Overall 80+ hours a week "required" with no leniency..
