This is a great company to work for. Fair salary and great benefits, the only downside To benefits is there is no fertility coverage. Great work environment, clean and safe work place. Very accommodating and understanding supervisors and employees.

Siltech is a great company to work for. The management staff is compenent and exceeded all expectations. The job challenging because every operator work independently with little or no supervision; from charging batches, running reactions processe, analysis and QC The working environment is great almost like family working towards a common goal. I would personally recommend Siltich Corp.

Colleagues are helpful and fun to work with. Company is severely understaffed. Managment is not good. There is no room for growth regardless of the position you're in, just more duties.

This is a solid job, however, chemicals present a dangerous environment. The pay and benefits are excellent though. The bonuses and Christmas party are great.
Pros

Cons

Everyday began with a hand-off from the previous shift, which meant that it was important to effectively communicate any issues or surprises that needed to be dealt with immediately. A Chemical Operator needs to have strong numeracy and documentation skills because much of the time you are overseeing a continuous operation that could last two or three days - it's vital that everyone be on the same page. Highlights of the job were the lab work - wet and dry chemical analysis. I made organic and silicon products for various industries. Downside? Working with dangerous chemicals and having to be on your toes with regard to safety 100% of the time. Make that 150% of the time.
Pros
Working in a lab; labwork
Cons
Health & Safety concerns
