Signature Support Services Employee Review
Awesome
Residential Worker (Former Employee) - Grande Prairie, AB - 27 December 2019
Would work for them again, I learned so much and had a lot of fun working with clients and co workers. Lots of room for advancement and extra training

Clients are great.
Group Home Worker (Former Employee) - Grande Prairie, AB - 6 May 2019
The individuals I supported were great. Upper management in the office are good to deal with, but my house supervisor was a nightmare. Employees have yearly evaluations (count on them being negative if your supervisor personally doesn't like you) , but it would be nice if we were given an opportunity to evaluate supervisors and hold them accountable. The shifts suck. Instead of a fair rotation you're given a "line". Depending on that line you might be expected to work every weekend which makes it hard if you have kids or just a social life in general. I think they count on you getting attached to the clients so that you won't leave. Advancement is 100% who you know and who likes you on a personal level.
Pros
Clients and coworkers are great
Cons
Horrible pay. Little chance of promotions. No shift flexibility. Supervisors with ego issues.

Compassionate
Residential Worker (Current Employee) - Windsor, ON - 8 September 2016
Focusing on a person's ability instead of there disability is what this company is all about. Assisting people to remain independent and live their lives in their own home instead of a facility. Through compassionate care and regular bookings, people are able to have their individual needs tended to.

Good
Support Worker (Current Employee) - Grande Prairie, AB - 13 March 2023
Good place bad co workers. It not a competition it a place to help and earn money and experience. Stop been a bone in other peoples throat . Some supervisor leave the work for the worker alone and hide behind the computer.
