Better than some places
RV Technician (Current Employee) - Smithville, ON - 31 October 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedBetter than some places in industry, but management is terrible. Lack of knowledge and people skills from people multiple management. Managers need anger management and people training, would not get away with that behavior anywhere else. Schedules constantly changing also.
Pros
Benefits and paid rv licensing
Cons
SUpervisors/MAnagers - unpredictable schedule. 12hrs shifts, 10 hours shifts, 8 hours shifts, 2 saturdays

Being able to laugh off the self serving ownership and HR Manager was a successful day.
Store Front Employee (Former Employee) - Smithville, ON - 5 May 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The hours were good as well as scheduled days off. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Owners have zero respect and zero clue about employee satisfaction. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Starts with HR and it is pre school and petty. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Trying to lift yourself above the toxic environment.

Underpaid for the Trades
RV Technician (Former Employee) - Smithville, ON - 20 March 2023
Obtained CofQ as R.V 1 only to make $19+ per/hour doesn’t cut it. This place has huge revenues and can do way better. 12hr Shifts were ok, management was fair, but they do have their favourites.

Bullies and stress
Abused employee (Former Employee) - Smithville, ON - 2 January 2023
Terrible company to work for. Owners and Hr do not care about employees. There is no job security here. No moving up in the company. Management is terrible. There are good employees here, but no one is happy because of owners and management. Detail department is treated like they are lower class citizens, techs are treated just as bad. Oh and there is a mandatory 2 weeks off at christmas, sounds great right? But it is with NO PAY. Do not work here. You will be sorry

Good people but so scattered
Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Smithville, ON - 14 August 2021
I have never worked at a place where the business has all the power. In today’s business culture customers hold the power. Except at Sicard. Don’t like the service. Tough. We are the only dealer. Don’t like the delays. Tough we tell you when you can come in. Don’t like the prices. Tough. No one can compete. They hold the power and the customer and the staff bow down. Lots of staff with tons of experience and knowledge so they know how to keep some staff. But. Service advisors last 7-12 months and then you are done. It implodes with the sheer number of customers and work orders.
Pros
2 weeks at Christmas for shut down
Cons
Long hours. Crazy customers and lots of pressure

Everyone is very rude
Service writer (Former Employee) - service - 27 August 2019
Like the other reviews said management has no idea what they are doing. Very rude people, when you are new they dont care if you make a mistake they will be sure to let you know it. Seems like everyone is in a bad mood and complaining all of the time. "restructured twice and after a month of working there I was "let go"
don't make the mistake I did and read the reviews before accepting the job.
Pros
none
Cons
long hours small pay rude people NO job security

Great employees......
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Smithville, ON - 10 August 2019
Great employees to work with. Management and H.R. needs to be improved. Be careful as they will “restructure”and you will be out of a job faster than you know. Pay is below average for job description and when u ask for a raise, you will be reminded of any negatives that may have happened and be told no.

worst dealer to work for
RV Service technician (Former Employee) - Smithville, ON - 19 March 2019
Worked there for almost 10 years, was good at first but quickly turned to bad when the shifts started. Dividing up the workers seemed like a good idea but quickly it created a rift and a "Team A vs Team B" mentality. Most of the guys I worked with have since left the trade all together for more lucrative careers and the turn over rate at "sh*tcards" is huge. Management is clueless and couldn"t careless about workers.......
Pros
None!
Cons
horrible pay, long hours
