It's a fun store to work in. There is lots of different products and lots to learn. I worked alone a lot, which was difficult, especially during peak times. I would have worked at showcase longer if it had felt more like a team fueled environment.


Simple. Depends on each manager, but usually they ask if you've worked retail before, if you're okay with a crim check, and will get back to you. If they're desperate they may throw you into the floor for a quick trial run.


Come prepared with some corporate knowledge.

Be sales ready! You may be asked to sell a product to a manager or team member.

Be prepared to discuss your scheduling needs.

Come with references even if you are not asked to do so. It would be great if you had a former retail manager on your list.

There are discounts for employees including promo discounts for 'spotlight' products. There is a bonus incentives as well if targets are met. It's challenging to meet targets, but doable if the team is motivated.
