Head office needs to cut the Continuous Improvement team's hours instead of store hours. They're hiring ex Front Store Managers to run the CI team when none of them have actual LEAN or continuous improvement certifications. That's a lot of money that could be going to stores. With minimum wage increases, head office has cut labour and increased sales targets.
Communicate. Have real conversations with your staff.
Our present manager is fair. I don't feel there is any reason for staff leaving because of management.

Actually invest in your employees rather than seeing them as replaceable. There is a huge learning curve at this job and employees who have been there for a long time add value to the company. If you continue to lose staff you are losing experienced members of your team.

Train the new store front manager on how to be a good leader, how to treat others, no favoritism , to work as a team.
