They give the minimum of vacation by law (2 weeks- year for the first 5 years; then 3 weeks for the next 5 years.....they could be flexible it depends of the owner pharmacist. mine they did not authorise ANY any days off without salary. People who needed 4 weeks on the firts 5 years they had to resign an come back (they agree with that)


It completely depends if you are a full time staff with benefits, which few people are actually entitled to.


I currently do not as I am part time.


I was part time so I didn’t receive my vacation pay each pay check. How it worked for me was I would book paid vacation days off (3 weeks in advance) where I would get paid during those days (if this makes sense!). I could use it all the way up till I ran out of vacation pay!
