Okay, low pay
Work really depends on the local associate and pharmacy managers. Some locations are good, others terrible and toxic. Pay overall is lower than independents. Most locations are fairly busy. Depending on the location, assistants role can vary. Most are focused on customer service, dispensing, and inventory management.

Stressful environment
The worst experience ever , the stress out there is unbearable. You will think about quitting every second with that minimum wage . The management were good but the loud of work was more than a human can bear .

Work hard, move up quickly.
Overall a great place to work, with decent benefits and good training for management and floor staff. If you make an effort, you can move up quickly. Standards are in place and it’s easy to move locations as everything is pretty well the same across the board.

Good first job to have
It’s a pretty decent first job to have. The work isn’t too difficult and the discount is nice. Only negative was the management, if you call in sick don’t expect to be on the schedule for another 2 weeks.

Friendly workplace
We had a great team - caring, friendly and supportive! I have good memories of working there. Managers were nice, hours were reasonable, pay was decent for a student.

“Are you available to work *insert shift hours*?” “What are your strengths?” “What are your weaknesses?” That was literally it. The interview was less than 10 minutes.

I had my interview today and it was fairly straight forward. I handed each of the people a copy of my resume and they went through each of my previous jobs to get an idea of what it is I did at each one. They weren't looking for specifics but more of an idea of my level of customer interaction. After that I was asked what hours I was available to work, if I was okay learning how to use a P.O.S. machine and lottery machine, the process of how to ask for Optimum cards and then if I was okay lifting things. It's less of an interview and more of a last check to see if you'll be a right fit and then letting you know more specifics of what you'll be doing.
