It's shoppers... what else more do you want
The people/ team members are great but the whole environment is not.You got cashier, merchandising, post office, pharmacy, I'm just writing so I make the minimum.

Great environment for anyone in the field of Pharmacology
I have learnt so much in the time I've worked there. It has supplemented what I had learnt in school. 100% recommend for those who want to stay up to date in the industry and also for those that love the interaction with patients. It is fast-paced.

High stress work environment hindered by salary stagnation and toxic corporate culture
Though teams at individual stores will make or break an experience, corporate culture kills joy of working there.- Focus on numbers based KPIs for professional services rather than patient health. Administer dozens of covid tests and give hundreds of covid vaccines a week - but oh no you didn't get 1 medscheck per shift so you're gonna get a talking down.- Salary stagnation: moratorium on raises for pharmacists from corporate spanning the last decade means what you make for wages on day one is all you're going to make for the foreseeable future- Constant crawlback on benefits: the company no longer pays for annual license fees, annual professional development conference cancelled last two years (covid-related) without any compensation for lost benefit or alternatives such as online being offered- No flexibility in schedule for family, personal, or social obligations

Good starter job, especially if you get to know the people
Your typical 4,6, or 8-hr shift will consist of facing shelves, stocking different products, or working the cash register. You will get shifted around based on your performance doing specific tasks. The unfortunate thing with this particular store is nepotism. Multiple employees are treated differently due to having relations with the store owner, manager a pharmacist, etc. Their needs will be prioritized above your own and if you don't like it, you have no choice, but to leave. It has been brought up to HR multiple times. Nothing gets done about it and you're usually silenced and neutered for speaking up.

Productive and busy
Working there is great! Even though I was young and didn't have much responsibilities, my co-workers still made it feel like I was making a difference.
