  • Having to handle three chats at a time, most of them involving vastly different issues. Any brainpower that you're not devoting to searching up the answers goes towards making sure you're putting the right info in the right chat. When you tell two the three folks you're helping that you "just need a few minutes to understand the answers", what you really mean is "I need a few minutes to answer the other person's question, and it's gonna be at least 10 before I figure your issue out." And, if you can't solve these chats in 15 minutes each, expect your manager to imply that you're not going to last long here while pretending that they're trying to help you grow.

  • Dealing with middle managers who act with impunity, until they are fired. Only to be replaced by someone much worse. Upper management courts chaos at the expense of all of us employees.
