Good place and people the only downfall of working there was benefits were mandatory and pay was wired it was bi monthly so you worked 40 hrs a week but you're pay may not reflect that as depending on when the pay cut off was in the month.

Nice staff but bad manager

Staff is good lack of training just guess what you are supposed to do. Staff is very clocky a little group of people if you don't fit in you are terminated.leadhands are a joke no leadership don't dare question or ask why they get upset .pay is garbage one month till first pay because they only pay bi monthly .they preach team and leadership but there is none run away from this company

Lack of hands-on oversight within the location led to disputes. Much of the time there was an unwillingness for the management to adjust margins to a level that was required to be competitive in today's reality

A confusing, and unhappy work culture.

The company has a high turn over rate with little or no room for advancement. The upstairs administration is generally at odds with other departments at all times including the VP's. Employee concerns are generally ignored and dismissed. Quiet honestly the worst place I have ever worked in my career.

was the worst management i have ever seen and fellow employees are the worst people i have ever worked with and there trucks are not worthy of being on the road that was just my first month of work not to mention alot of other questionable actions i wont mention

I dealt with a boss that used foul language. He gossiped and told stories to other employees that we not true. He mocked other co-workers as how stupid they were. As a lead hand I was told I had a target on my back as did the HR rep. I brought a lot of experience to this company as I had more than my boss. I trained several individuals to become press operators.

Kept busy dealing with walk-in customers, emails and phone calls

Enjoyed working with customers and learning about the various products. Training was extensive because I took the initiative to learn from key employees. Job wasn't meant to be permanent. I was only there to help the branch manager overcome her new staff. The branch manager was my boss previously and needed a loyal and hard working employee to set as an example for her new staff that was having difficulty accepting her.

Potencial good company to work for. Just poor management

Shippers Supply have a few good head of department. Some areas are needing improvement which cause other areas to operate inefficiently. Shippers Supply has great employees from very diverse backgrounds. We all work well together and preform productive days, while enjoying a typical work day. Having accurate inventory was a difficult challenge for the head supervisors which posed a problem for prompt, accurate and satisfactory customer service. The most enjoyable part of the job the team players coming together to provide great customer service.
