The work load is ok but you need to learn everything so you could enjoy your job. Learning is consistent on this company with the help of your colleagues and Management team, each department help each other to achieve their goal, like one of the manager told me “We could champ every guests by smiling, positivity, and going above and beyond”. With this culture, you will learn and progress with this company and more enjoyable when you meet each and every people on every department and the management will allow you to jump in on every boat to learn and succeed in life. And the hardest part is saying goodbye to friends, colleagues and management team as new opportunity knock on your door.

Needs management improvements

Working in Sheraton Wall Centre has its ups and downs. The captains are usually polite and helpful, but they snap at you under pressure. The food is excellent. There is no training for starters, and the payment is average.

Productive and fun workplace

This is my first time working in a hotel and it is overwhelming. With more than 700 rooms with lots of conference and events it can get busy. But this hotel have lots to offer. Multiple staff appreciation party to attend. You can also get commissions for you hard work.

Sheraton Wall Center is a revolving door for hospitality. No direction and everything catered to senior citizens ...lighting, food, music... like a retirement home with a huge rodent problem.

Day at work

Clocking in 15 minutes prior to start time. Greeting department associates and getting briefed on the days happenings. Helping guests with whatever they require including; directions, reservations, luggage assistance, deliveries and transportation.

Everyone working there are so friendly, helpful and hard working people. Enjoying the work but in the slow season not enough work hours which is understandable. So do need a second job when supporting a family.

not a great hotel to work for

I was hired to be the Credit Manager, and was let go 9 months later because the removed my position. the staff in the accounting office were great, but the GM did not support the staff . The hours were long, but lunch was free.
