Extraordinary staff. They are kind and caring people.
I have always loved working in long-term care. I love leading our team towards our short and long term goals. Seeing the team working together, for the benefit of our residents, is very satisfying.
Providing optimum care and ensuring the residents are comfortable and content, is always the goal. Making it a feeling of "home", is just what the staff do.

The hardest part of the job is working without sufficient numbers of staff. This only makes it more difficult for the other team members.

The most enjoyable part of my job is seeing the resident content in their home. Seeing them making friends, communicating with others, participating in activities, and thriving as best as they can.

Great staff.
As team leader with a large group of staff members, and a large group of residents, a typical day at work can be very busy.
I loved working at Harbourstone, I had been with the company for almost 25 years, and have seen many changes.

I learned so much with this company. The client is always first, it is their home, and we worked at their home to ensure they had a great day. Taking care of their personal needs, their medical needs, emotional needs, and spiritual needs.

I always enjoyed seeing the clients content, be it with their families, or with the staff.
