Good pay and workplace

This company pays well and provides opportunity to advance your nursing skills and education. Shifts are short at times but that’s anywhere in health care right now. Most co-workers and management are helpful and kind. If you’re considering working here I would definitely suggest giving it a try!

Are not as client centred as they profess to be. Once you become aware it is a for profit company you quickly realize the corners that are being cut. Too bad the majority of the buildings are beautiful and could be such a great place for seniors to live

Constantly short staffed, poor management

While I enjoyed my time working at Caritas for the most part, the work culture is very toxic. Bullying from managers, constantly short staffed. Unsafe as it is supposed to be “assisted living” with more and more residents becoming long term care level. Very poorly run. Needs more staff and staff should have more training on how to handle residents with dementia.

Heavy work load. Often short staffed. The Clients were great to deal with and so were most of the staff. The only problem was that you worked more shifts short staffed then full.
