Personally rewarding

I find this place very rewarding. Working with the elderly is truly a special experience. Sadly when I was hired, they made a lot of promises that after almost 2 years I'm assuming none will be upheld. The promise of advancement with wage compensation was a complete lie. Two years with nothing but great "reviews" and all I received was .05 cents more. Claiming that's what the "pay grid" allowed for. Constantly under staffed, over worked and way under paid. The coworkers are like a little family as cliché as that sounds which is great. Management is mediocre at best. Honestly the job it self would be great if I could actually live off of only this job. Sadly not the reality. The GM also seems to reward the lazy workers and punish the dedicated ones. Always being asked to go above and beyond your title in extreme ways with zero compensation. Some times even without a thank you.
