A 264 bed nursing home, Breton Bay had many challenges and Mr. Shannon saw the opportunity to change the way people live in long term care. Could see understaffing was how they operated

I could see right from the get go that this employer struggled to provide adequate staffing for the responsibilities they accepted in senior care. I couldn't in good faith work here and be alright with that.

Good pay and workplace

This company pays well and provides opportunity to advance your nursing skills and education. Shifts are short at times but that’s anywhere in health care right now. Most co-workers and management are helpful and kind. If you’re considering working here I would definitely suggest giving it a try!

Management need a clean-out

Management treat "most" of their staff very poorly. The professionalism is very hard to find. Staff are talked down to and talked over. No respect shown at all. Unless you're one of the ones who get praised for work. Yet they spent most their time hanging out in management's office.
