fun work place, good staff, resturant experience
Counter/Deliveries (Current Employee) – Riverhead, NY – 15 May 2013
A typical day at work would consist of me taking peoples orders over the phone and in person, delivering orders to them, and keep the restaurant clean. I learned how to use a pos system, help the chefs prep the kitchen, and where all (if not most) of the roads and backroads are around the pizzeria. The management was good. there was always a schedule put up and the manager helped out her employees in every way she could. My co-workers alll did what they were supposed to when they were supposed to. We all got along well which made the work days faster and easier. The hardest part of the job is when its friday and saturday nights. The restaurant is flocked for hours and orders continuously pile in. So you have to multitask and stay with it for a few hours straight. The most enjoyable part of the job is talking to the people youre serving. Some of them are very open and interesting people.
