Over worked and underpaid

Class 2 HGV Driver (Former Employee) - Milton Keynes - 26 September 2019

For the job the drivers and loaders do. They are over worked and underpaid. Given extra work and one less man to do it. Holiday is hard to get, despite having over 300 staff

Serco were a good employer complete your work and go home or if you wish go out on overtime st a good rate had lots of laughs and management would listen to your opionions and suggestions

Employees work hard to complete a difficult, dirty job

A nice friendly working environment. Employees have to work hard in all weathers to complete assigned jobs. Rates of pay are not competitive enough. Agency workers are payed more than contracted employees.

Would not want to work there again

Low paid, very demanding and expect you to bend over backwards for them but never anything in return. On the garden round they don't have enough lorries and crews to do the job even after telling them you need another lorry and then get questioned on why you could not finish the round. Management never around and when they are it's only to tell you what you're doing wrong.
