Serco is one of the world’s largest providers of public services to governments, employing over 50,000 people in over 20 countries. The services we provide are often of critical importance to the communities and nations we serve.

Serco operates in six sectors of public service provision: Health, Transport, Justice, Immigration, Defense, and Citizens Services. Sometimes we are supporting people at troubled times in their lives, be they unemployed, refugees fleeing persecution, or in prison. In other parts of our business, we are running some of the most advanced train services in the world, delivering essential support to armed forces, keeping hospitals safe and operational around-the-clock, and providing environmental services.

Average place. Would recommend it if you're looking for a paycheck. Not much more to offer.

Very informal environment. If you're in the right department your manager will support you. Operations are very demanding and stressful to work for. Would recommend if you're looking for job stability and a paycheque.

Overall horrible place to work

Management, other staff, work environment, are all horrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The public you work with are always rude & supervisor doesn’t help at all

Toxic employer

This company does not care about the employees unless you are in the administrative section and management. Very tight budgeted, will do anything to save money off the backs off employees. A typical foreign company that only cares about making profits and not caring about employees at all! Would definitely not recommend!

it's Ok place to work

Stress day as soon as it opens. You learn a lot in a matter of weeks. BUT is it enough...NO. There's always something new. What you learn in training is totally different from what you encounter. Is it enough training....? No... CSR are the front core of the company. They provide support thru out the whole process in obtaining an adult Identification or motorize vehicle. Culture is great Meeting new people and helping applicants succeed in getting their license It's really stressful as well if you don't receive no support or help if you have question. Sometimes you tend to forget, and you always need that second opinion to do the job right. Advacement...? Not for a long time. you'll need to put in the time for that!

Interview questions

In my previous work experience prior to becoming part of Serco, how will I use my skills in serving the new job that I applied for?

Shared on 29 March 2019

Didn’t really ask a lot of questions only how to handle people who don’t speak the same language or conflict with people. Lots of scenario questions.
