Server (Former Employee) –  Dining room26 September 2019
The setup of shifts made no sense, three hour shifts for lunch and dinner with a two hour gap in between with no option of staying for a full 8 hours. Plus two hours is not enough time to do anything during the break. Unhelpful management and staff were very clique-y. Honestly I only stayed for the money and the patrons were so awesome!

Server (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB8 February 2018
It was a good workplace with flexible hours. Very easy job to learn. The team was also very friendly and the hours were good as they were only during the day.

Prep Cook/kitchen helper (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB26 July 2017
Management like to play games with employees jobs, very much backstabbing and liars. Violates many labor and health and safety laws and the pay was terrible.
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
bad work conditions, bad coworkers, bad managment

Part-time Server (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB18 May 2017
most times it's very unorganized and scattered. they don't take seniority, so you don't have a guaranty that the shifts you want will be given to you. a new person would probably get a shift and you have nothing. they say they go by seniority but then change their mind and say the more available you are the more shifts you get, lies.
Pros
the tenants
Cons
to much to do in such little time, you feel like everything you do it wrog

This is an important industry that demands much of your time. Only motivated employees need attend.
Maintenance Director (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB23 February 2016
Days were busy, starting with building inspections, tending to concerns of residents. Staff concerns to address. Staff always polite
working in a relaxed atmosphere but aware of the requirements for the facility and the responsibilities expected. Addressing the multitude of deficiencies in a new building at the same time looking after the unknown requests from staff and residents was the biggest challenge in the position. The most rewarding part of the job was the interaction with the residents themselves. If you like people and resect your elders it is very illuminating thing to see wisdom.
Pros
Good work atmosphere
Cons
On call
