culture is amazing. Do you think an organization should view all ideas as equally valid? Should the company's bottom line be the only mechanism that determines what idea is utilized? For example, employees in a company have an idea that the cafeteria should should accept credit cards to reduce traffic. This will cost the company money. It may not dramatically increase the bottom-line. However, one can argue that less traffic means employees will have more time eating than waiting in line. If employees are able to finish food earlier, they may be able to return to work earlier. Also, employees may become more grateful that they're able to finish their food without the long wait, therefore, causing them to perform better. What are your thoughts on this scenario or any scenario that is not causing increase to the bottom-line?
