Great company
Off Duty Officer (Current Employee) –  Honolulu, HI8 July 2018
This company besides being a great company to work for. Awesome management and staff., first class. The manager always follows up by email or phone on any issues you have with scheduling, payroll or other matters. Very high tech company you clock in using their app and your phone.
Cons
none so far

Pay is good but that’s it
Security Specialist (Current Employee) –  Arizona30 June 2018
No career advancement, poor management. They don’t care about you. No job security. Morale is non-existent. The only reason people continue working here is for the pay and the convenience of it being close to home but after a while, that no longer matters either. SIS in CA might be a better option but most certainly not SIS in AZ.
Pros
Pay
Cons
Poor management, low morale, no career advancement, no stability, no job security

my time with S.I.S
Security guard (Former Employee) –  Richmond, CA26 June 2018
a typical work day would begin when you get on site your credentials are verified, you receive a pass down of the day's events from the prior shift, the equipment used on site and you would then escort the previous shift off-site and begin work. maintaining an hourly log of the shifts activities. it was a great job but like most security jobs contracts don't last forever/
Pros
pay was top notch
Cons
sites can be dangerous.

The amount of support and learning with this company is second to none. I've been with the company for a few years and the family atmosphere and opportunities given to me in my time has been phenomenal.

Struggles to keep staff
Shift Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Seattle, WA15 June 2018
Low pay and high attrition causes others to pick up the slack more often than not. Management in the Day and Swing shift seem adversarial and write up happy.
Pros
Easy Job
Cons
Low Pay, high attrition.

The specialists make this company what it is and are paid the same no matter how long you have worked for them. They don't care about the employees and all they care about is the contract and the money.
Pros
minumum wage job

Best Security Company
Shift Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Culver City, CA8 June 2018
This company was the best security company I have ever had the pleasure of working for. They offered relevant training for advancement, paid higher than all other security companies, and only hired professionals.
Pros
Too many
Cons
Strict hiring policy

Poor Management
Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Mesa, AZ30 May 2018
Management will look for any reason to terminate an employee once the contract size shrinks. At the location I worked they were supplying close to 80 security specialists and once construction is complete will only need approximately 12.

Security Specialist (Current Employee) –  Seattle, WA23 May 2018
They will never give you a raise. They also create toxic work environments with staffing issues. If you have any work ethic they will put you with people who have none. Then they treat you like the bad employee for wanting to work with better staff.

Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) trainer (Current Employee) –  Seattle, WA17 May 2018
Every day was always different but somehow the same. Everyone was busy, never a shortage of work. What i enjoyed most were the people, they keep me coming back every day. There seemed to be a disconnect between upper management and the workers. However I can't say too many bad thing about this company. It is a great place to work.
Pros
Co-workers
Cons
Upper managment

Do not work for this company if you are in security
Security Site Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WA17 May 2018
No pay raise in 6 years, bad leadership, from Watch Commander up. If you are not part of the click, you will not get promoted, and will be look down on. And they will get you out of the way.
Pros
Great Contract for a Major Company downtown Seattle.
Cons
Leadership need help, no good leader in upper management, it a buddy system to get promoted.

The most enjoyable part of this job is being part of a team that is willing to help develop and guide you to where you want to go. Whether it be a specialist or a supervisor, they will reward hard work and dedication.

High Speed
Global Security Operations Center Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WA5 May 2018
This company serves a high speed client in an even higher speed industry concentration. It's easy for some to get lost in the day to day activities depending on your job title, but also easy for those looking to quickly advance their career and learn plenty of new subject matters. This is a very diverse work environment with plenty of room for growth for their employees. Overall, you get what you put into it.
Pros
Very relaxed work environment as long as the incumbent does their job
Cons
Easy for entry-level employees to get lost in the high speed aspects

Security Specialist (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WA 981012 May 2018
Low morale environment and management. Managers don't know how to handle issues, they don't have a common sense and believe gossip and too much favoritism and set up personnel for failure.

Did not care for the way the company ran
Field Security Supervisor (Former Employee) –  San Jose, CA6 April 2018
Like anywhere the company did not hold everyone to the same standard. This showed through the way they promoted and treated their employees. In my eyes favoritism went all the way up management to CEO.
