Don't waste your time. Not worth it
Regional Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Québec Province22 April 2019
While the products are okay but infrequent supplies of samples, there is great dissent within the ranks of management. Salary is very low in the industry. Company culture sucks. . unhappy place to work,. So don't waste your time. Not worth it.

Not Current
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON2 February 2018
Seaford has some good products, however senior management lacks the insight to focus on the top products and let the less desirable ones fall away. The culture is not suitable for people coming from larger more regulated companies as they will find the business approach very outdated and uninspiring.
The company does support hiring people who have non Canadian Pharma experience.
Pros
Office shuts down at 5.
Cons
Low pay, office staff seems unhappy and frustrated.

A once successful company with a bleak future
Employee (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON16 July 2017
This company has enjoyed 25 years of success, however they are stuck in the past and probably have a limited future.

While their products are good, this family run company resists changes proposed by the very good Director of Sales to bring the company into the 21st century.

There is great dissent within the ranks of management. They will not spend the money on effective marketing materials. They had not updated marketing materials in 3 years, and supplies of these materials is inconsistent and unreliable.

They are frequently out of a supply of samples, are forced to use stock sizes of samples, and frequently out of stock of their best product.

Pay is low for the industry, the bonus structure is a joke (few reps have ever made bonus in 25 years), and the medical benefits package is meager.
Cons
low pay, little management support for the tasks employees are asked to complete.

This position involved the promotion of OTC products to Physicians.
SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg Mb7 May 2015
Each day was enjoyable as I called on the same Physicians I had called on for 7 years at Sanofi Aventis Dermik.
My territory was doing ,,,,,,, and it was most difficult to keep the business growing with no new products, no formulary or NIHB coverage .
I sold more Polyride $ than the entire Western Territory and more Lomelin than the rest of the representatives. No samples though, was a concern.
Pros
Working Independently
Cons
No interaction with other sales people..

Field sales work is an exciting career.
MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON31 January 2014
Review plans for the day or week. Prioritize appointment sales calls and conduct walk in calls in the assigned territory. Implement sales strategies for the given cycle. Set plans and programs with the aim of achieving market shares and sales goals.
