Fun Workplace with Great peopleThe work days for the School District were long but you balanced the harder work with the easier work throughout your shift so you did not burn yourself out. Everyone that I meant within this occupation was happy with the job and were always ready and excited to do their job.

Honest hard work with incredible intrinsic value!Had some good honest laughs with some genuine people. Loved getting to know the children as individuals! Loved being given a job to do and being trusted to carry it out to fruition. Enjoyed authority and responsibility!

Public school system crumbling - great people to work withWork is very demanding with average class sizes easily between 28-32 students with a multitude of IEPs. Teaching staff is cohesive, fun and dedicated. Administration bends towards business plans and budgets with teaching and education secondary. The day job is fabulous with great people who love kids and care.. The night time and weekend part of teaching is demanding, relentless and unforgiving. Make sure you have good computer equipment to work with at home because you will not have much to work with at school.

Stressful environmentManagement is very poor and lack communication skills. Poor wages, lowest paying in B.C. out of 60 school districts.
