Bedding/Cutting Crew Labourer (Former Employee) – St. Catharines, ON – 19 February 2018
In the few months I worked with them I saw a lot of questionable management decisions. They let their insurance on their vehicles expire and had staff drive for several weeks without it. Lisa asked me to transplant poison ivy around a pool area so they could have recourse to charge to use heavy duty pesticides around a community pool area that a baby patch was spotted near. They promoted a female to Foreperson and failed to pay her for over a month, only doing so after she quit. Lisa then approached myself and another coworker of mine and told us that one of us had to drive a truck and trailer loaded with equipment that pushed the licence requirement to a D license (I have a G and refused, my coworker had a G2 and agreed... he got the trailer stuck on a low parking pole within the week and damaged the trailer wall)
I could go on but really this company is not worth my time or yours so hopefully you don't feel inclined to work for them. They do not protect or take care of their employees as evidenced by their excessive turn-over rate.
