fairly quiet but boring

Management is very understanding, work days are pretty slow, customers also act very entitled for it to be an outlet retail store, there aren’t paid sick days which suck

Fun place to work

Pay was too low for the job. I loved the work and the staff, but the pay rate wasn't even in line with other retailers in the area. I took the job because I was working for a former boss hoping for a pay raise.

Fun and entertaining

A typical day at work begins with opening up registers and making sure cash available and registers operational fit that days productivity expectation, unlock doors, and ensure throughout the day not one customer goes unapproached and assisted in anyway necessary. Management walks the floor assisted when needed, providing support to not only the customers, but my fellow co-worker as well as myself. The hardest part of retail are the months retail is extremely bad, i.e. January. No hours available makes it hard on our paychecks, advancement from within is also a little disappointing, meaning it's not to little likely to happen. My overall job is enjoyable. Every customer experience is different! From walking in the door to leaving with a smile, we do our best ensure every customer can leave saying their experience at Saks Off Fifth was much better than expected!
