Sage Hill Retirement Residence Employee Reviews

The managers make the work less stressful. All the job is done by paper no electronic documentation which makes the work difficult. Most of the staff are nice except some bad apple. Philipino language is most spoken by staff. I feel like I am in Philippines. The policy says not to speak in different language but it seems ignored. Wage to start is less than average. There is not much shift to pick for casuals and part time workers.

No electronic. All paper work drag the work. Low pay

Terrible Manassas

If you want to work in a place where management blames you and screws you over for every single thing, then this is a great place. Can't trust any management here, they all look out for each other. Been thrown under the bus by my own boss

I love working this company but I need to work as a full time job ,that they couldn’t gave me more hours.I have to support my mother back home financially coz of her medical expenses,I like working in a retirement residences.My passion is to work for elderly people,and base on my worked experience which I work in a retirement residences for 11 years as food server for the previous employments and recently as A receptionist.

It's a fun and a productive place to work

I enjoyed every single day of working at Sage because I got lot of support from few of fellow lpns who are really there to get the work done and care about their residents; nursing managers are also readily available to provide support when you ask for it.

Work load

Server (Former Employee) - Alberta - 19 October 2020

You are getting paid minimum hours and the work load that you will do is for two position (server and housekeeping). It is never approved and since we have pandemic, we have to be very careful with treating our residents because they are at high risk. I wont recommend Sage Hill Northwest, AB due to lots of work load and problematic staffs

Offers good service , treats all guest kindly and in a good manner. Working with a nice staff. Staff are kind and easy to deal with. I learned how to deal with different peoples behavior. Learning to be more responsible in every everything we do.
