If you were in charge, what would you do to make Ryerson University a better place to work?
I embrace my job to make it better and help the facilities nice and clean and faculty members help there goals so that they can teach the student well.
Most of the interview questions I had were personable. I was interview by a student in upper years who was guided by a non-academic staff in a space in the Athletics area. From the questions (which I cannot remember now), they seem to want to get to know your personality and how outgoing you are. Then they get you to try the costume and improvise some actions and scenarios.
There is no company culture at Ryerson. The confluence of humanistic endeavours to educate and anti-humanistic endeavour to accumulate wealth are inherently incompatible, and have resultantly cancelled out any possible culture in the institution. It is devoid of culture.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Ryerson University? What are the steps along the way?
The hiring process took about 1 week when I applied online. Then I went in for an interview and then went through some online training modules.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Ryerson University?
Be confident. Show the interviewer why you are a great fit for the role with real world examples from your experiences to support your answers.
