Awesome Company!
Current Associate (Current Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL21 December 2018
I have worked at RTC for a few years now and it's a great company! The company tries to incorporate activities to engage associates and to make them happy (volunteer hours, parties, social activities, ping pong, giving back to the community, etc.) Everyone at RTC is very passionate, cares about the business and takes pride in their job. There are a lot of tenured associates that act as mentors for the newer associates. I've worked for other organizations in the past where the company didn't value their employees or have growth potential. It's a family company where the CEO cares about his associates. There is growth potential with in the company and ability to move between different departments. It's a great company to work for!
Pros
Work 37.5 hrs paid for 40, Events & Activities
Cons
Normal business politics

INFOR LN ADMINISTRATOR / DEVELOPER (Former Employee) –  Chicago, IL14 December 2018
A typical day you start at 8 am and leave at 5 pm unless you have to install Infor LN patches which was done on Saturday.

IT management was terrible, they were very closed minded people.
Pros
Nice office
Cons
A lot of politics between the IT people

RTC is a company where your career goes nowhere
Ex employee (Former Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL9 November 2018
Very high turnover. Company does not value its employees, reason why people stick for a while and then realize there are much better opportunities else where.
There are no clear career paths. Yearly reviews are given only to fulfill management requirements and expectations.
Management is very tied to ownership, not aligned at all with mid to low end employees.
If you value your career, DO NOT consider working for RTC. You will be disappointed and your work will not be valued.
Never seen a company that has so many VPs.
RTC attracts new potential employees with their "Fun Fridays" perk, which allows employees to leave every Friday at 2:30 pm. Not worth it!!
I was amazed how many people left the company every week. Then you realize people that are happy would never leave. This company has serious concerns.

CAUTION, STAY AWAY!!!!

Good company but fails to have structure
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL6 August 2018
The chain of command below senior leadership is just for show and isn't followed. The Owner is a great person but has chosen some individuals that are completely fake to run key departments. Unfortunately this causes people to quit the manager vs quitting the company.

Also RTC chooses to call their Directors VP's. So it can be confusing with 25+ VP's running around!

Overall there's no respect for a chain of command and some VP's are a bit to proud! Once Senior leader's weed out those bad seeds. RTC could be a great place to work.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Current Employee) –  Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu30 April 2018
Good but salary constraint is high. If they provide the expected salary, then it is highly sofisticated to serve this institution. Looking for other company because of this reason.

Overall good company
Business System Analyst (Current Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL6 April 2018
Overall this is a good company to work for if you are in the area. Most managers are great and easy to work with and provide help as needed. However, process cam be improved they way business is done or technology is implemented.

Horrible place
Accounting Analyst (Former Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL8 March 2018
This is the absolute worst company at least when it comes to the accounting side. They lie, provide you no training. The hr department is a joke. They thoroughly enjoy letting people go. I left a job I was with for 8 years based on their lies and deceit. They have been steadily letting people go and an overall horrible company. If you want stability run away from this place as fast as you can.

Business Development Director (Former Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL23 February 2018
Heavily into standard, patented products. RTC specializes in pusher systems, retail security systems & I think that's where their specialty 'niche' lies.
Pros
Great people.
Cons
Kinda restrictive on who you can go after as new business

Great Co-Workers / Poor Management
Employee (Current Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, IL22 February 2018
RTC employees some very talented and creative people. Unfortunate, the management team rarely listens to or includes them in the problem solving process. This leads to poor solutions or outright failure.
Pros
Flex Time
Cons
No upward mobility
