Driver
AZ Driver (Current Employee) –  Dundas, ON24 March 2018
Worst company I have every worked for. Management which includes despatch have no respect for the drivers if you injure yourself well working management will make phone call to WSIB and do everything so you don't get your payment and you have to fight to get payment. They make the company out to be the good guy and the diver is out to sc__w the company. The pay is ok and drives are still quitting but the once that are still there say if they didnt have the years invested they would be gone. Your start times are all over the map. Dispatch is is the worst, in a week you could be working three shifts, dispatch calls in retired drivers and they get 12 to 14 hours and gives the full time drives 4 to 8 hours. Dispatch thinks the drivers should know everything about the Company and customers if you have been there a day or years. Company equipment is junk poorly maintained the company only does what they have to stay on the road. The management needs to remember to get respect you have to give respect and it all starts at the top. You would think these day when there is a drivers shortage the management would treat the drives they have much better to try and keep them.I don't recommend my worst enemy to apply for a job with Rothsay.

people could smile more. Some positions have regular routine and some don't. the pay is good the morale is low due to managements sneaky tactics. everyone gets written up for everything whether legit or not keeping, everyone on edge.

Avoid At All Costs.
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Moorefield, ON14 November 2017
The most dysfunctional workplace I have ever experienced. From decades old equipment to constant clashes between staff, this employer is one you want to avoid. This decrepit location is staffed by a collection of lifers whos constant daily complaining will drive you to the edge of madness. Yes, the money is good, but you cannot put a price on your sanity.

Rothsay recycling is a large company, i was employed there for 6 months on a contract first off would like to say thats a brutal and ridiculous length to be on contract when your disposable at any point in time. rothsay will over work you and the dispatchers and mangement team treat you with no respect. the dispatching crew was the most unorganized group i had ever worked with. always under staffed because they treat the employees poorly. i was told by the mangement staff i would be hired on full-time and had nothing to worry about and 2 weeks later they handed me my papers saying i wasnt being hired on with no warning. your working hours are all over the map and never stay the same you could be days to afternoons and nights in one week. absolute lack of scheduling, mangement ability and respect.

Pros
Bonne pause, Super Patron, Bon Salaire
Cons
Quelques employés
