company was okay to work for. simple sales associate job, nothing too hard. managers dont micromanage. only thing is that the pay could be better and it can get busy at times.

not the best

Roots wasn’t a horrible place to work at, but what really made it unbearable was management and its treatment of employees. While I do understand this is retail, that does not give the excuse of the cavalier dismal and treatment of employees especially ones that have been there since the beginning. While i was there i can confidently of the original team of 10+ only one remained 6 months later. That says a lot about how we were treated while we were there.

You’re given hours if you suck up to management

Cons

minimum breaks, getting a 15 minute break was a struggle, Forced to essentially pressure customers to the point of annoying them
