Riverside Millwork Group Employee Review

A Wonderful Place to Grow and Thrive

I honestly can't say enough good things about Riverside Millwork Group. As a recent college re-grad stepping into a new career, the job hunt was overwhelming, to say the least. I was looking for not just a job, but a place where I could truly develop my skills and grow both professionally and personally. Riverside Millwork Group has turned out to be exactly that place.First off, the company culture here is just amazing. There's a collaborative spirit in the air that makes even the toughest projects feel doable. From day one, I felt welcomed by a team that was not just skilled and professional, but genuinely friendly and supportive. We're more than just coworkers here; we're a team working towards common goals, and it makes all the difference in the world.Special shoutout to my boss, who is not just a manager; she's a mentor and a coach. She’s got this patient, encouraging vibe that has been super crucial as I navigate these first months out of college. She makes the effort to share her wealth of knowledge, while also encouraging me to push my boundaries and contribute my own ideas. Honestly, it’s one thing to have a boss who listens, but another to have one who makes you feel heard and valued.

Great company culture

I have been with Riverside for 4 months and I can honestly say that this company really cares about its employees. It takes pride in its core values and hires people that fit with those same values. I find it enjoyable to go into work everyday, which I can not say about past employers.I have learned a lot in my short time here and the company has already invested in growth and learning opportunities for me.

You better love your starting salary.

You better love your starting pay because thats what you will be stuck with. They make empty promises about future raises, promotions, and bonuses.Riverside over promises and under delivers. Both to it's employees and to it's customers. It has a great culture if by "culture" you mean company pizza parties.

Pros

Nobody tells you what to do

Cons

Nobody tells you what to do

Energetic and Inclusive Work Environment

I feel encouraged and supported by my coworkers and management staff, they have helped me greatly in my first couple months to adjust to a new work Environment. There are a few large learning curves, but Riverside provides the right tools and backing to help accomplish my tasks successfully with confidence. I enjoy the enthusiasm I see in the staff, as everyone works together towards a common goal.
