Did not follow Covid restrictions and hid it from Fraser Health on inspection day. The residents are neglected and not supported by the care aides. I am appalled at how little respect is given to the visiting families. Atmosphere is toxic and not good for staff or residents.

Worst staff attitude, residents complain alot about food, and maintenance of buildings. Always runs short staffed

They never have adequate supplies, co workers constantly complain about management, alot of cursing in kitchen, and very poor attitude of cooks. Many cooks verbally put down residents, by saying they dont care. Management sabotages employees self worth, when working hard, put down for showing others how much can be accomplished and keeping fridges clean was put as one persons responsibility instead if sharing tasks, as others didnt clean as adequately. Always had to fight for raises. Picketing in Dec screwed up all staff income that year. Not a Merry Christmas.

Retirement Concept is a good place to work. You have a laugh with co workers. You are always busy.

I have been with Retirement Concept for 3 years. I have found it a good place to work. There is some issues that could be better. The staff really care about the residents that are there. Most of the employees are helpful, but as in any other work place there are a few bad apples. Over all it is a good place to work.

Dispicable workplace

This Company has a more toxic workplace than the remnants of Chernobyl. No work life balance whatsoever, no empathy for others, lack of professionalism at every turn, unreal lack of boundaries, shaming via group e mail threads often, being told "revenue hides all sins" instead of focusing on the well being of the Seniors that live there, thankless hours of extra time that leadership puts in with no consideration for family or private time, dishonesty should actually be embedded in their philosophy and mission statement, no use going to HR as they are part of the hidden sin crew, constant talking about others performance in a negative way from "support office" down, answering to a multitude of ever changing support office staff and on and on and on. You have to ask yourself why so many of their sites fell under Administration? Do yourself a favor in a time where care staff are more needed than ever....go somewhere where you will be appreciated and respected. Run from this Company like you were Forest Gump running after Jennie and a box of Chocolates....Run Forest Run!!!!!
