supportive and inclusive environment
Digital Support (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 March 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe job is very boring, but the people are fantastic and you feel very supported. Training is great and communication is solid despite it being a completely remote environment. The recruiting team does a very good job of selecting people who are compatible and complimentary to one another. Management is helpful. I have no complaints so far, except for the job itself being monotonous.

Toxic! Avoid at all costs.
Business Development Manager (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 27 January 2022
Benefits were decent, and a recognizable brand to have on your resume. Otherwise, avoid at all costs. The organization claims meritocracy, but that is the furthest thing from the truth. Poor people managers, office politics, absolutely no room for growth unless you are a "favourite".

Insights into Restaurant Brands International
What people like
- General feeling of work happiness
- Ability to meet personal goals
- Ability to learn new things
Extreme Hours
Leadership Development Program (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 15 November 2021
Competitive culture with a lot of opportunity to grow. Do not expect to have a life when working at RBI. RBI becomes your life. Some Intern projects can be very easy while others extremely difficult. Do NOT select GBS as your department
Pros
Great reputation
Cons
Insane work hours

Difficult Time
HR Analyst (Former Employee) - Oakville, ON - 17 March 2021
very toxic culture and management with loads of stress and no work life balance. i was not favored like the others who were willing to work 12-14 hours a day and spoke up about the gossip and favoritism coming directly from HR people have had breakdowns at work due to the high pressure, stressful environment and how they hold your job and salary over your head but its a 3G capital owned company, they care only about money, not people. dont be fooled. our Canadian coffee company has gone down the drain
Cons
Long hours, stressful expectations, rude manager, lots of favoritism

Waitress (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 12 January 2020
By this job I learned how to community with the costumers and how to solve the emergency problems. On the other hand, I learned I must be work hard and work fast

Dynamic organization with full of activity each day. Strong Metrics driven environment
HR Analyst (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 5 December 2019
Most enjoyable part of my job was that I got an opportunity to learn and work on variety of activities. The work is very fast paced and HR service is delivered on pre defined Service Level Agreements.

toxic culture
Campus Recruitment Lead, Canada (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 14 May 2019
Toxic culture, poor management, and employees are overworked and underpaid. I would not recommend working at this place as there are no growth opportunities.

A real test of grit and endurance.
Sr. Analyst, Performance Management (Former Employee) - Oakville, ON - 13 November 2018
+ Incredibly talented people
+ Ridiculous amount of responsibility before you're ready
+ Promoted or moved laterally fast, often, and before you're ready, as a rule
+ Very high performance culture. This is coming from a management consultant.
+ Performance-based bonus is a big part of compensation - above manager level its >50% of your salary.
+ You will double what you thought you were capable of within 6 months.
+ Huge opportunities to grow, the meritocracy part is true. There are 27 year old VPs running brands and continents.
+ You will work with and know multiple role models.
- Results are everything
- 0 regard for employee life or wellbeing in many teams
- Ridiculous workload on many teams - 10% of our unit worked >80 hours per week regularly. Sometimes 100. Meanwhile many teams are chill, 50/week.
- Often disorganized - things move super quick, onboarding/offboarding is broken, insufficient hand-off causes disarray and ridiculous stress on team
- High pressure to deliver no matter what
- Soul crushing in the best corporate tradition.
- LDP (leadership development program) dominates - harder to advance or get interesting opportunities if you didn't enter as an ldp. Oh and 80% of hiring is now through the LDP program

Terrible culture run by inexperienced guys
Analyst (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 5 October 2018
It is good if you want to stay there for 1-2 years and absorb as much as possible. Only go if you are going for marketing, bd or finance. Terribly inexperienced management.

brilliant head of legal department
Legal Intern (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 19 March 2018
Jon Domanko - is a great manager. There are lots of opportunities to improve your skills and gain knowledge. Thus I would recommend RBI as a great place for your legal internship.

Cut throat and uncertain work environment
BUSINESS ANALYST (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 22 November 2017
Stressful, poor people managers, no transparency, too much politics, metrics/freshdesk is insanity, no sense of team and uncertain growth opportunities. Be prepared to dedicate your life to your job, otherwise no lateral or vertical movement. If you come in at 9 and leave at 5 and finish your work well, your not valued. Come in at 10 am stay till 10 pm, even if you do bad work, then your a star employee. Face time is what works.
