Good place to work.
Overall it was a good place to work. Sr. Management needs improvement on communication. Project work was involving and collaborative. Good team atmosphere.

A lot changed
I started with Talisman Energy and was part of the acquisition in 2015. The Repsol Canada today looks much different than the Canadian company I worked for.

Calgary office is constantly shrinking with very little opportunities for movement or growth. A cycle of constant layoffs has resulted in low morale.

Employees are very uncertain about the future of Repsol in Canada
Great benefits and work life balance. This company is huge worldwide. However, as much as management would like employees to believe there is a role for them in Canada, there is little to indicate that there is a future for the company in Canada. They do not appear to be producing any new assets and a lot of the people who were on projects that were number one priority last year were laid off this year. This does not generate a lot of confidence with employees that Repsol will have a future in Canada.
