Was a great stepping stone into the sales industry
Home Comfort Advisor (Former Employee) - Windsor, ON - 24 September 2018
Management came and went but the sales job I had involved great training and the ability to makes lots of commission. Hours were high in hot and cold seasons but allowed you to make the type of money I expected.
Pros
Yearly sales conferences
Cons
Late hours

good work family
Home advisor (Current Employee) - Burlington, ON - 11 March 2018
Very high pressure environment. commission is great...budgets are unattainable, and management is very strick . hours are long, and they expect you to work seven days a week.

You make exactly what you are worth in all jobs
Home Comfort Advisor (Current Employee) - Regina, SK - 14 December 2021
Great incentive structure from techs to sales. You can determine your own pay by how much business you bring in… here is a hint to the techs and sales people who are leaving bad reviews…do what you genuinely believe will help a customer and your numbers will never have you on a performance plan. With regards to management I can only speak to our local branch. They are all hard working and leave you feeling supported to reach your goals. This support is crucial especially when you are working some rediculous hours in AC season. This industry is not 9-5 Monday to Friday. You are on call… a lot which can make work life balance a challenge but you are compensated well for your time it is also a good feeling to help get someone heat when it is -40. Sales training is second to none… or at least it was when I started. It has been exciting to be a part of such rapid growth.
Pros
Management, training, compensation
Cons
Long hours
