City of Vernon, CA Warehouse associate (Current Employee) –  Vernon, CA20 June 2019
Management is really good, they work around everyone schedule and are very attentive to their employees. I learned more about the processing progress, from picking, shipping, to returns, i got more familiar and comfortable with how they manage their warehouse and learned so much from them.

Fun place to work but a little disorganized
International Volunteer (Former Employee) –  Sachsen-Anhalt13 May 2019
This business only existed for the year that Wittenberg, Germany was holding the 500th anniversary Reformation celebration in 2017. There were many unpaid volunteers from all over the world. Many of us were ill-directed, performed duties irrelevant to the furthering of the celebration, and did not know what to do half of the time. Despite this, we had some fun times, lots of food and coffee, and good celebrations.
Pros
Free lunch, free food
Cons
Disorganized

Sustainable Fashion Company, High stress
Production Purchasing Manager (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA4 November 2018
The culture of the company is a good one, Using sustainable textile and recycling clothing. The management is a little distant from the work force. The hardest part of the job is high stress and long hours. A fun place to work with an open kitchen and free meals on Friday's.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
No breaks, very short lunches, long hours

Great place to work if you want to get paid to volunteer sometimes, but also want to remain stagnant in your career
Customer Love Associate (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA20 July 2018
The job was advertised as leading into growth in the company and ability to move into other departments according to your experience and goals, however no one was invested in my growth or development. We were expected to work overtime for several months due to bad decisions made in other departments and were hardly thanked for it; we were paid overtime however the base pay was so little that it hardly made a difference in your paycheck. My review was continuously pushed back for months, and when I finally received it, management had put in their notice to leave, leaving the department with no direct overhead, causing the opportunity for advancements or any upcoming review to slim even more.
Pros
Some free food, but nothing extraordinary. Paid volunteer days are great. Occasional in-office activities.
Cons
no chance for advancement, low salary, bad for commuting without a car, high stress and sometimes negative environment

Young Company still figuring it out
Freelance- Textile Designer (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA21 November 2015
Overall Reformation has a strong design aesthetic and brand image, but internally they are a little unorganized. Reformation is growing and rebuilding their structure, but overall my freelance experience was pleasant and they were very prompt with their responses and design direction.

Management creates a bad culture
coordinator (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA4 November 2015
Management is very exclusive and doesn't like to involve anyone in projects. They always advertise that they are "collaborative" but say one wrong thing and you'll likely be put on a people development plan, which basically is a buffer so they don't have law suits thrown their way when they fire people. Multiple people are fired weekly and management openly jokes about it so there is a very hesitant atmosphere in the workplace.

However, it's a growing company so there's a lot of opportunity to learn how a successful company is built. There are some benefits and perks, but it's often outweighed by the heavy atmosphere.
Pros
dog friendly, clothing discount, paid volunteer time off
Cons
exclusive, catty, holier than thou, nobody speaks to anyone new

No day was ever the same, very challenging and exciting. The most enjoyable part was the relationships and interactions you gain with people in the business.

Energetic, innovative, and youthful work environment
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CA2 December 2013
A typical day at work at Reformation includes the following in chronological order:

1.) Clocking in

2.) Changing into the brand's clothing

3.) Getting on the sales floor to offer individual customer service to clientele, managing fitting rooms, and ringing clients up at the cash registrar.

4.) Going back into the stock room if need be throughout the day to organize new inventory that needs to be put out on the sales floor.

5.) Organizing inventory on sales floor, and making sure that the store is clean, presentable, and aesthetically pleasing to the client throughout the day, and especially so before store closing.
Pros
young and creative working environment, daily exposure to meeting new people and thus making new connections
Cons
the pay, benefits, and amount of hours
