The most stressful part is realizing your Area Manger is a loose cannon, she has no grasp of confidentiality and always changes her mind and makes changes to rules and forget what she say, when you compare work to pay, you real se this place is just not worth it and all the work they expect.

Answered

Usually, it is once a year according to your end-of-year evaluation and according to the type of job you do.

The bonus system is great if you actually have staff that work. The manager is supposed to get 50% of bonus and the staff would each get 25%. Since they are a couple, essentially, they make the same as the 1 manager. Seems to be a problem with that way of thinking.
As well, if you have no staff, you still only get your portion even though you had to do all the work, for months.
The DM gets a higher undisclosed amount of bonus based upon how well the individual properties are doing. He doesn't rent a suite or clean a hallway, or knock on a door for rent payments and gets a substantial amount for a bonus.
