Easy work and loved how it was remote but the pay was too little for what you're doing. You get paid once a month and I think this job would be useful if it were a side gig with your job and not your sole income source. You have to keep up with the work you do since they don't send you pay stubs or anything. They keep track of what you do but don't give you the information which I didn't like.

As a growing company, there are plenty of aches and pains that come with volume expansion. Typically, working in the office requires a lot of initiatives to try something new and better but also get your work done. It is a fast paced environment that's not for everyone. But if that's you, you RBG, however, does its best with building its team from within and trying to get people to stay. The culture here is getting better month by month, and I am excited to see what comes to RBG in the future.

RBG treats their Video Scouts like pieces of meat to be chewed up and spit out. They allow clients to create overly complex or overly specific guidelines that result in many unreliable shops that are nearly worthless to the client.

The Video Scout position is a high-turnover, guaranteed burnout job that will significantly affect your health and relationships after just a few months on the job. Management does not make a concerted effort to promote from within so it is a dead-end job.

Much of management has little-to-no direct Video Scout experience. Therefore, Video Scouts are treated differently than office employees are treated.
Pros
free drinks and snacks/food on some of the shops, occasional extra long breaks in-between trips
Cons
overly demanding, low compensation, extensive boring travel, economy transportation and lodging, erratic scheduling, long days, weekend work, poor management

This job preaches “family” but in the end you’re just a body. Salary and the amount of work you do are nowhere near fair or reasonable. Most time I’d be ending my night at around 6pm only to still be up at 11pm doing and submitting videos and still to be up at 5am so I can do shops. After a while it seemed as thought I got no off days and was ALWAYS going to my home state where it got to the point where the employees knew me and why I was there and management got mad when I complained.

The job sounds fun, but it is not. It is very stressful and exhausting. You run long hours for very little pay. The management is never there when they are needed.
Pros
fun traveling to new places
Cons
poor management/very stressful/long hours/low pay

Not much input allowed in scheduling or assignments.
You are given too many assignments in a short period of time, which is extremely stressful.

Hours worked per week/ per assignment are far beyond what is actually paid in salary, because the position is salary based.

End up feeling overworked and underpaid.

You never know what type of assignment they will give you.

Very little training is given.

Management is clueless about what their employees are dealing with, trying to get assignments completed.
Pros
a paycheck
Cons
poor management, overworked/underpaid, too much stress

The managers have no training and are thrust into the job. They lack the communication skills to effectively communicate with their employees. The higher operations have no idea what they are doing. They never want to pay the reimbursements on time. If they ask you to pay out of pocket and you will get it later just say NO!
Pros
Travel to different places
Cons
Management/ Pay/ lack of respect

Work here if you want to be paid very little, overworked, undervalued, and managed by a group of misogynists that are unaware or do not care about their behavior. They commonly refer to employees as "bodies". With the exception of "Leadership", everyone that works there is great and is very helpful. Turn over is extremely high because the salary so low and you are ineligible for the countless overtime hours you have to work to do your job.

This is just a temporary place to work, they do not offer to grow up in the company and even when is a small company, you doesn't know all your co-workers.

Nice position for traveling to different locations each week. Scouts have flexibility in their schedule so if you finish early you get the same pay. Locales and shop options can change from week to week so its new each week mostly driving around the state. Pay is not great, especially when some weeks they have no work to assign. So it's like a part time job unfortunately. Good for students or those with no small children.
Pros
Travel, collect travel rewards like hotels, airlines, and rent cars
Cons
Low salary, usually only 15 working days a month

I have traveled the country over a year collecting video secretly of employees at various types of businesses to be used for employee evaluations. Top-notch group of people who have to coordinate a lot of travel plans and video collection.
