Account Service Agent, Home Equity Department (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON6 June 2019
I started as a student night shirt. It was fun working at night, more relaxed and you just do your work and can listen to music. We processed simple client requests about mortgages.

CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPRESENTITIVE (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON2 May 2019
a typical day at work was tending to customer needs, whether depositing checks. Learned how to manage time wisely and the workplace culture was very inspiring to work in as everyone was trying to be the best versions of themselves everyday.

Branch level employees need less responsibility not more
Manager of Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Cornwall, ON9 February 2019
Retailing is uncomfortable and not being followed through, Listen to your staff. Empower them more. Senior Management is disconnected from Branch needs. Many movements in roles has downsized management in most branches making Managers far stretched and impossible to be effective. My job was no longer required. :(
Pros
great people, care about employees, great benefits, great products
Cons
too much upselling, too much retail, lack of job security

A good company with a positive workplace culture. The advice centre is good if your looking to obtain entry level work and experience but the salary and job progression is limited which is the reason for alot of turnover.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Fort Frances, ON12 December 2018
The work is fast paced and seldom boring. Lots to learn for those staff interested in developing their skills further.
Workplace culture varies from office to office, and manager to manager. I have worked with very dedicated managers who really inspired their team, I have also encountered managers who break a team down, and pick out their flaws.
Pros
Personal and professional development opportunities
Cons
frequent management changeover

Great People to work with
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  GTA, ON30 November 2018
Been with the company a long time, and the salary doesn't seem to increase. We have goals to meet, and yearly they increase and the pay doesn't reflect this. It is demanding, and sometimes the pressure gets intense. High turnover in staff.

Very toxic environment
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Moncton, NB2 November 2018
As far as call center goes, this is maybe the most stressful one. They watch every move you make, and its not very difficult to find yourself in a lot of hot water with talk times, bathroom breaks etc. I never had any issues myself but watched a lot of people suffer from very mean management.

Well managed with good work ho e balance.
Expert CSR (Former Employee) –  Regina, SK1 November 2018
Early morning meetings before doors opened to update staff on any changes then coffee.
The hardest and most enjoyable part of the job was the clients. Some became very close while others could be difficult. I think this is typical of working closely with people.
Weekly achievement reviews which were easily met if one focused on the client needs.
Pros
I worked very close to home.
Cons
Being robbed at gun point
