Journeyman Millwright (Current Employee) –  Delta, BC4 May 2018
Nice people, really clean shop. I've worked at a lot of dirty shops, but this one is tidy and they emphasis keeping it that way.

Engineering is on site, so work flows pretty quick. Great place to learn, they have apprentices in each department and it's not like other places where they get the cr*p jobs but learn.

Smaller sized shop but lots going through. Day goes by fast.
Pros
good managers and foreman, easy to talk to, get along pretty well and like decent higher ups that know your name, clean uniforms and clean work area
Cons
need a bigger lunch room

Have worked in their manufacturing shop for 3 years and the work has been steady. Good benefits and job security. i like the managers even the executives are pretty nice to you like your a person not just a worker.

good guys to work with.good work, good pay and pay ontime
Pros
double overtime. management presents company stats and how much work in the pipeline, good pay and pay on time not issues with work and money.
Cons
afternoon shifts, not a big parking lot

Shop Worker (Former Employee) –  Delta, BC14 March 2018
I worked in this shop for a year and had a good experience. Pay and benefits were good. The shop was busy so there was lots of work and overtime if you wanted it. They build machinery for the forest products industry and employ electricians, millwrights, machinists and fabricators. There was some 40 shop people when I was there with 8 apprentices so pretty well rounded. They have an afternoon shift as well. Overall a good place to work
Pros
Good group of people to work with
Cons
Did not like afternoon shift

Tradesman (Former Employee) –  Delta, BC20 January 2017
Overall Job is easy as a tradesman. They hire machinist, industrial mechanics, welders and electririans. Perfect place for apprentice but not so much for a journeyman. Most of the shop is based off apprentices and only a handful of journeyman. They will hire then lay you off just to be replaced by someone cheaper. If you can stay there pay is decent but job security is not.
Pros
Clean, decent pay
Cons
Job security for a journeyman
