This is a great company with great people who really create the experience and culture that is Quantcast. The technology is second to none and really is a fun place to be and work. Id recommend them to anyone.

Poor Management - forced to do unethical work or will be seen as not a team player/client forward
Key Account Manager (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CA19 February 2019
Counterpart: Disrespectful, unethical, deceiving, untruthful, untrusting

Management: lack of leadership, inefficient, ignore problems, does not know how to protect the team, lack of political power compared to the sales team

Hardest part of the job: being in the toxic environment, dealing with fake coworkers, lack of guidance, repetitive, job was misrepresented during interview, lack of communications, high turn over rate

Summary: If you're the type that speaks up for yourself or unjust situations, this company isn't for you; because they will bend the rules for their favorites. This has happened to a good amount of people over the past 3-4 years which HR is aware but choose to do nothing.

There are some good people in the company; however, just not within the larger Account Management or Sales teams.
Pros
Free lunches, dinners, and snacks, good benefits
Cons
Poor management, disrespectful counterparts

Good perks (full benefits, free catered meals), boring work (repetitive, uninspiring industry), very high turnover, robotic company culture, below average compensation.
Pros
Free Lunch, Free Dinner, Free Cold Breakfast
Cons
Spinning in place, losing top talent, core industry challenges

Great place to work
Senior Data Analyst (Former Employee) –  Chicago, IL18 January 2019
Fun work environment and great work/life balance. The company gives you the freedom to get your work done on your own time. Management could be a bit better and less fickle, but other than this everything else is great.

Good Company Navigating Troubled Industry
Marketing Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CA19 June 2018
Quantcast is a good company to work for. They take care of their employees and for the most part take their concerns into account. The adtech industry is in turmoil at the moment and there are many approaches and opinions battling it out currently as to where the company moves next. The products on the horizon are good. The technology behind them is good. The fundamentals are strong but all sails need to be pointing in the right direction for those things to take this company forward.

Fun workplace, lacking management
Sr. Accounts Executive (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CA14 March 2018
Typical day consisted of internal and external meetings. Great knowledge around the advertising technology landscape. Management and company infrastructure was not efficient. Culture and employees were great.

Great product, poor management
Regional Sales Director (Former Employee) –  New York, NY28 February 2018
The NYC office is like a revolving door. Management has been switched up many times and there is no longevity or stability for your career. Smart people to work with but Executive team needs to set realistic expectations.
Pros
Great product
Cons
Poorly run company

Management needs a reality check.

There's a serious lack of collaboration at Quantcast. The leadership team is not on the same page as the employees. It makes working quite uncomfortable and people are often on edge.
Pros
Free lunch

Horrible leadership
Director of Business Development & Global Vendors (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CA6 October 2017
The staff is great and loved my coworkers but executive leadership is horrible. I was mostly left to myself with very little interaction with my manager. Its a very quiet office and totally lacking any spark. The people I worked with on a daily basis were fun and nice and smart. Exec team is clueless.
Pros
Free lunch, weekly happy hour, nice office, decent hours
Cons
Horrible executive team, little company growth

Stressful, but with the potential of being rewarding
Sr. Software Engineer (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CA6 August 2017
It really depends who you ask, but the company overall is not bad. There are facets that are good, as well as those that are bad. The employees are good, management is bad. The perks are good, manager's thought processes are bad. Some managers are good, and those tend to retain their direct reports. The others - do not.

The company has a very good perks - lunch is provided, happy hour, and ping pong. However, the company is growing too quickly and doesn't know to handle it. Morale is low in every department. Employees are worried for their jobs. ELT has stated that they do NOT feel that experience is necessary and will internally promote an employee with NO experience to a higher job. I would not recommend working at Quantcast until they have sorted themselves out.

Good Product - Bad Management
Operations (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CA10 July 2017
I don't recommend Quantcast to friends or family. The work life balance is the only positive about the company. It is a company filled with politics and if you have not been there longer than a year, you are not trusted by anyone. It is hard to advance and seniority are the only thing they look at when promoting.

Great place to learn from others and expand on your own skill set. The company moves and shakes fast and future outlooks can change quickly, but overall, the people at the company make going to work worth it.

Great place to learn about digital advertising
Sales Planner - EMEA (Current Employee) –  central London19 October 2015
Smart and fast pace environment, with focus on sales and new technologies. Great people willing to teach the basic and the advanced digital advertising tricks for both clients and employees. Great location and perks. Current role is administrative and gives little space for creativity. Company very focused on results/performance for clients and on recognition and great payment for staff.
Pros
environment, free meals, central location
