If you work in the warehouse you have to be active and healthy. Some departments are easy to work but some require some lifting. Overall it’s okay to work

Great place to work and grow. Managers are supportive.

The only downfall is they required an experimental medical procedure that I refused to take. Even though it's been proven the ones who did not take this procedure are not a threat to the health of others, they won't change their policy. If a vaccine does not protect against a virus, it is not a vaccine. They lost many good employees because of this desciminatory policy.

great job lousy manager

Loved my job as a courier. Working AM or PM dock is hard and physically demanding job. Most managers were good and helpful. One manager at Stratford location is a bully. In 40 years of working, that manager was by far the worst manager I've ever had in my life.

Very supportive management with flexible working hours. Collaborative atmosphere with the ability to work from home. However, work-life balance is not the best.

Lots of opportunity for career advancement; Supportive management

Great company. Weekends off and holidays also

Great company. Weekends off and holidays also, as long as you get the job done and everyone's happy. Would recommend to apply if you see a post go up.

Great work life

Busy at Christmas time. But it's still great

Not bad but not great.

Good management, but some sour coworkers. The union protects some people it really shouldn't, & it takes too long to get into said union. Most of the coworkers are good people, though.

Overall good place

Some people aren't the best, but management is nice and benefits are good. Things are sometimes disorganized and warehouse is too small, causes problems between coworkers sometimes because things get left places.

Very hard work

They work you hard. You better be able to lift many boxes fast or they will be on you. Online training is a joke cause when you get on site, they do everything wrong. They don't care about safety and they don't care about throwing boxes.

Stressful during the holidays

Great place to work at but during the holidays, it can get very stressful with high package count. Certain locations that you work in such as packages delivered for Vancouver, etc may be more intense.

Productive and relaxed environment.

Relaxed and productive. Pay isn’t great all though. I do recommend if you love union environment with steady work. There isn’t too much pressure as the manager can’t really tell you to work faster or harder because of the union.

Not bad

Good place to work if you have no other education, good pay and benefits, most days were easy but some not so much. Having to deal with customers was the worse part, 90% of them were nice but the other 10% were d***s.

Good company that tries to do the right things for staff and customers.

Overall, a good place to work. Salaries and benefits are competitive. Job security is very high, but there is very low attrition so it's hard to advance. It's the perfect place if you want stability.

Chances to move into different departments and roles that you like to be trained in

This company has excellent benefits and great work atmosphere, feeling like you’re very supported. Coworkers can be like family and supervisors are friends and never make you feel like they are superior to you.

Fully paid benefits and bonuses during a productive year

Sometimes can be scheduled until midnight, have to be calm with irrational customers

Easy going job, paid well

The customers were mostly great, the work was straight forward and the pay was good. Just didn't offer full time, so had to move on. You don't have a manager working in store with you, so it can be very laid back. There are busy times of the day and quieter times as well.

overall fun place to work at

Cuatomer service is a big part of this job as you have to deal with customers on a daily basis. If you enjoy that or dont mind it too much then its a great job. Dont get to many angry customers but they do show up every now and then.

Good work environment.

Very little to zero job security!Job security comes by how long you been in the union.Sad really!!. Hire to many people at peak season and then the lay-offs begin.

It was alright

It was pretty good. Sometimes you didn't know where you were going for the first hour of your shift. The managers were pretty unorganized but the pay made up for it.

Pretty good company

Working at Purolator has been a pretty good experience so far. The work is not too hard. The only thing you have to worry about is shipping large items and dealing with irate customers. The pay is pretty good too but the only thing is that you don’t get much opportunity to make more hours outside of peak season. So, good pay rate + poor hours = okay pay cheque. You also only get benefits if you’re a full time employee which is unfortunate. The management is pretty decent and fellow employees aren’t too shabby either. It’s a good place to work if you’re a student because hours can be altered if needed. Definitely recommended to those who enjoy customer service and interaction.
