Great place to work
The title says it all. 9-5, great management and workplace culture. Cant really pick a hardest part of the job, as for most enjoyable aspects the way you're treated is wonderful. Administrator in Ottawa, ON

Pays very well, You get stuck there do to golden hancuffs
The PSAC does not follow the values that they tell their members they believe in. They treat their employees unfairly and in equal, depending on your ability to be friends with your director. Elected members can take vacation without recording time, while taking payout. When the employee is micro managed. No advancement unless you have the ear of upper management.Digital Media Communications Officer in Ottawa, ON

Toxic. Top-down, old-school, didn’t practice the inclusivity they preach
Things may have changed since I worked here years ago—because the work culture is highly affected by who is elected to leadership— but I did not appreciate how the organization treated employees. They resisted change, didn’t listen to employee expertise, had my boss acting a level above for months (a VP encouraged him to apply for the role) and then hired someone external for the role so he left and the person they tapped to act for him was insecure and controlling, like so many I encountered in this organization. They also didn’t have a clear process for accommodation or flexible hours. I sincerely hope things have changed, but I will never work here again and wouldn’t recommend it.Intern in Toronto, ON

Internship
Great environment, easy-going, and people are very nice. A typical workday varies, you might be working at the office or outside organizing events, etc. What would you say about your employer?
