Coworkers were easy going, and very helpful. Great place to land a job if you are looking for a stable career. Learning french would be an asset ad will give you an advantage.

I feel very lucky to work here and I am learning so much. The work can be intimidating, but you will find amazing support if you are prepared to ask! Good communication skills go a long way in this position.
Pros
Great learning opportunities and some stability
Cons
Can be challenging at times

Management not well organized, more work less room for growth and advancement. Work life balance is non-existent. Lack of communication and respect is quite unfortunate. Working for Federal definitely does not have any benefits.

The PPSC has become a great place for a good work/life balance recently dependent upon your department and your immediate boss/supervisor.
Recently things such as cross-training and transfers have become more accepted.

Working with the Crown prosecutors in YK was really good and had taken viciarous trauma debriefing on regular basis. I had won an award for my work. Made some good friends with some of the Crown Prosecutors and really enjoyed the work, learned standards for conviction on the criminal code.
Pros
Dialogue with victims
Cons
Not enough hours to do what I had to do.
