Propel Holdings Employee Review
Not Everyone's cup of tea
The call centre work environment is very stressful with low salaries and a small commission. The people however make it worth working there and making friends is very easy. You can only work here temporarily as this isnt a long term solution for a job. Once you move up to corporate such as IT,Tech, HR or marketing(if you're lucky) it gets better money wise. Salary still below industry standard, very stressful and there is a lack of communication from top management. People aren;t as friendly anymore. Not everyone's cup of tea. pro - free snacks on Thrusday, occasional company lunches and drinks

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Micromanaging and competition and no room for advancement within the company. You will be talked down by upper employees and TLs and trained poorly and unprofessionaly. Only positive day about this company is snack day. However, they treat you and talk to you as if you're ignorant and they lack empathy for it's new and existing employees.
Pros: good tech and training. Some Team leaders are great like J#$n and R###neGood hoursConsistent with benefits programs and incentives Good higher management vps and supervisors Cons: No job securityManagement does not train you again. You learn and hunt for your own.Over competitive as everyone fighting for loans to meet targets.Too much focus on targets.Low targets mean you're out.Newcomers are always overwhelmed with pressure. Some experienced employees get away with all the procedures. Equality and integrity missing as if you're new, they'll try to crush you. If you're friend with TLs people will get away with a lot of things. If they make mistakes it's by chance. If you are not that familiar with them, you'll be under procedural conundrum as a business intent.
