Production Worker (Former Employee) – Belleville, ON – 30 December 2018
Lots of equipment to learn about. Some great management; some not so great. They try hard to hire good employees but some idiots still make it through. Nepotism happens. Rewarding if you take pride in doing a good job, just don't expect to be told about it. You get one nice weekend off every month but you pay for it with the shift schedule. Can be difficult to get proper sleep. If you make a mistake because you're tired, too bad. Lots of pressure to show up for work even when you're sick; then you catch heck for making others sick.
Needs more company continuity - Plant managers change some things which are probably the scope of head office. Departments do the same, so you will see people treated differently based on which department they are in.
Temps get worked hard, miss breaks, and poor pay for their work load. You can be the best worker but if you don't pass the HR test, you won't get full time.
One actual weekend off per month
Long days feels longer due to fast switch continental shifts.

The hours were great. The staff and management were great and easy to get along with. Everyone worked pretty well together. The breaks were plentiful and I liked working the long shifts and night shifts

I found That working with this company was a perfect fit for what my needs and job expectations were. Would definitely welcome the opportunity to work for them on a full time basis not through a temp agency.
