A challenging place to work.
CNC Machinist (Former Employee) –  Homer, MI22 January 2015
A typical work day consists of set-up and tear-down of a CNC mill. I learned the operations of a Hurco and Komo CNC mill and was exposed to the Conversational coding for a Hurco. I did not interact with management on a daily basis, but I enjoyed working with my co-workers. The hardest part of the job was understanding and interpreting the Conversational programming code. The most enjoyable part of the job was having to think about and analyze the criteria needed to perform the tasks at hand.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Long drive for me

Work from my home office.
selfemployed (Current Employee) –  Cromer, ENG11 September 2013
I share a depot with an engineering company.
They provide the servicing of our machines.
I am selling professional equipment to the road and farm contractors.
I have been fully trained on the products I sell.
I am also providing technical feedback to the R&D of the factories in Italy to improve their machines.
English market is totally different than the Continental one hence the machines need to be modified to match or to outdo the competition.
I sell directly no dealers involved.
I organize demo, special events and participate to the main fairs all over the UK.
I write and edit all our literature and manage my own website.
When necessary I take clients over to the factory or wherever there are the machines for which they requested a demo.
I enjoy taking clients around the world to show them our machines at work.
Hardest part of the job is convincing the manufacturers to invest in spot on equipment.
Pros
none
Cons
none
