Horrible
Rep (Former Employee) - Online - 6 October 2023
I DO NOT recommend working for this company. They promise you that you’re gonna make so much money and that you earn money right away and you don’t. They are very pushy with their sales and do not fully explain things to you, they said if you ever quit you get a refund and that’s a lie, they DO NOT refund you the money you paid. They said they pay for you to get licensed, the life insurance exam is only 41$…. They’re an awful company who just wants your money.

Faible variété de produits
Conseiller (Current Employee) - Rivière-du-Loup, QC - 26 August 2023
Il manque de produits la formation est longue et il est impossible de se faire une idée du moment où on va gagner assez d’argent pour en vivre. Il n’y a pas de salaire de base et c’est les hauts dirigeants qui font l’argent

True Learning Experience
Independent Financial Services Representative (Former Employee) - Halifax, NS - 8 March 2023
I learned a-lot from my RVP. He was very supportive. I was not good at prospecting clients and I could not acquire the necessary skill to build a strong pipeline.

Do your research and have a realistic plan to transition full time.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 3 February 2023
This is a commission only contract. Ignoring the recruiting aspect of this business. Getting into financial services this way is an uphill battle, you have to convince family and friends to buy from you to develop a market of referrals. Not to mention getting licensed to sell and registered will cost money, long before you will make a dime. Great company atmosphere great people less than 5% success rate.
Pros
Great people
Cons
Bit cult like

Great for some.
Financial Coach (Former Employee) - Barrie, ON - 22 January 2023
If you're motivated, have lots of contacts that trust you and you sell well then this is a dream job. Helping people get their financial life together is really satisfying.
Pros
Grest people, performance promotion.
Cons
Hard for some.

Don’t waste your time
District Manager (Former Employee) - Ontario - 4 January 2023
Cult like mentality. Constant love bombing to keep you “in”. You will be hyped up as long as you do everything you’re told, but if you ask questions, you’re immediately shunned. This ruined me.
Pros
The people were great at first
Cons
Mentally and emotionally exhausting, less than $8, 000 made in first 1.5 years of working

Senior Representative (Licensed) - Part-Time (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 21 December 2022
Just be aware of what you are signing up for. The commission can be great but you have to work be willing to put in the work. they also emphasize recruiting which i am not a fan of.

Terrible Place To Work
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Ontario - 7 December 2022
Just a straight up awful place to work. Got a job placement here and found out they intended it to be a temporary unpaid trial which they went through with multiple applicants. Multiple 8 hour shifts of unpaid labour just for a reference letter at the end. This employer is straight up terrible.

It was a challenge working here, you spet your day calling your friends and families convincing them to buy insurance
Financial agent (Former Employee) - Peterborough, ON - 6 December 2022
This is not a salary job, if you are looking for something to get pay bi weekly, this is not it, you would end up spending more money attending functions, or traveling to get a sale from one of your friends and family
Pros
Teaches you a lot on how to manage your money
Cons
long hours trying to get friends and family to join, most times you feel demotivated when you do not get someone to sell insurance to

go for the job who has the selling skiils
Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 5 December 2022
there is very limited scope to learn in this role. if you manage a client, you can learn. Otherwise, you will waste. your time. and not suitable for those who want to work on salary.
Pros
work life balance
Cons
no salary
